A Beautiful Nostalgia

A life well lived is one woven from both joy and sorrow — a tapestry of highs and lows, pain and pleasure. It is shaped by an understanding of the past, including the uncomfortable truths and histories we carry. It holds longing for what once was, grief for what has been lost, and deep gratitude for having lived through it all. At its heart, a life well lived is rooted in Hope. Through every season of my life, one constant has remained: a relationship with a present and faithful God. This love is weathered — enduring and honest — and it holds all the emotions named above. It is not untouched by struggle, but enriched by it. For me, blue embodies this sacred, liminal space — the in-between where relationship and reflection dwell. It is the colour that speaks most deeply to my soul. Blue evokes the vastness of the sky and the depth of the sea — the mysterious, the unseen, the divine. It suggests things I can almost glimpse, but not quite touch. “Blue represents introspective journeys and symbolizes wisdom and depth of understanding.
