I find the whole idea of an Eden a setting free of the spirit, a place to reinvigorate the soul, to untie the shackles of everyday living and to breathe, to be free, to soar- to come fully into yourself through being in nature, introspection and solitude. I’ve leaned towards creating and enhancing the feeling of foliage with cross stitch embroidery to create texture and colour to an otherwise monochrome work.
