In the mid-1590’s Shakespeare lay the words, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet”, in Juliet’s mouth. There is no denying the beauty of a beautiful rose or its sweet-smelling aroma. To be known is a God-given need, which outside of Eden, we can never expect from other people given that we are all impacted by the expulsion from Eden. For now, we can all rest in being fully known by God who creator of Eden and us all and learn to see the beauty of the people we get to know by the name.
