Reën

The work is based on a haiku by Hans du Plessis. Grond Vang reën en son in die bakhand van jou lyf waar lewe kliphart klop. It reminded me of life and of being alive. Of dancing in the rain. The work is hand-cut and stitched on paper. There are a few secrets, and the rhythm of the haiku is captured in the work.
