Rosa II

Following from the artist’s “Haiku Rose” works, the order of work was reversed in Rosa II. The inspiration from nature which characterise traditional haikus was the first element in this work, with the rose retained to represent the theme of the Afrikaans love poem. Thereafter waves of text was added. Roses grow, bloom and die… But love that is true; the love of Him who is the Truth is the same yesterday, today and until the end of time.
