Another Dimension’ captures the essence of my journey from the serene banks of the Fox River in Illinois to the tranquil shores of South Africa. Just as the Canadian geese migrate across borders, I too have returned to my homeland, carrying the memories of two worlds. This painting is a reflection of the time spent by the water, a bridge between past and present, where the ripple of experiences from different dimensions converges.

Inspired by the rich floral biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom, which is also a World Heritage Site. It is home to an amazing 8 200 plant species – of which around 80% are fynbos.
Some of these plant species date back to over 60 million years ago. Many of these plants are endemic to Table Mountain and can be found nowhere else in the world.
