The intersecting and diverging paths on this dry river bed, created by the wildlife of the Thicket, have the lure and promise of leading one anywhere in the landscape. The idea of buck, and in the past, elephants, making their way through the low forest is exhilarating.rnrnI used a 2B pencil for its silvery colour. The pencil marks cannot be erased from the canvas, so I had to work carefully to avoid making any mistakes.
