It was cold. We were in a hurry. Nevertheless I made my husband come screeching to a halt on the side of a British motorway on the way to Heathrow airport to catch a plane home. He was not impressed. I just had to take pics of these dried out seed heads and, I must say, it was worthwhile as I’ve used the photos as reference ever since.
