Something I saw in Singapore ii

While visiting Singapore at the end of 2019, I made a day of visiting the Singapore National Gallery. The gallery served a generous helping of spectacular art, and I was especially touched by the works of old masters from Singaporean, Chinese, Malay, and Indian descent. In this painting I recreated a portion of a beautifully sensitive portrait by Chue Mia Tee, as a homage and a special memory of the trip. I later learned that the woman depicted in the painting was the artists’ wife.
