Still life with bi-coloured vygie

This little still life, which includes a book on angels, a delicate handkerchief, a brooch in the shape of a swallow, and a cutting of bi-coloured vygie, was one of the very first compositions where I incorporated a piece of my new home in the Klein Karoo. The landscape and everything in it have subsequently been a rich and wonderful source of inspiration in my creative output.
