The Quiet Journey

Born from months of excavating memory, history, and deep connection to the land, The Quiet Journey bridges the weight of our shared roots with the human desire for transcendence. Dense, layered mark-making and shifting color palettes mirror the visual and emotional sensation of gazing upward through a complex canopy into an ever-changing atmosphere. The work serves as a visual metaphor for resilience during uncertain times: reminding us that by stepping back from present difficulties and looking up, the tangled fragments of where we have been resolve into an emerging landscape of light, perspective, and hope.
