Sometimes we spend so much time looking at what is directly in front of us that we forget to look up.
This painting is about those brief moments when heaven feels unexpectedly close — when something ordinary opens into wonder, and for a moment we become aware of a beauty and presence far greater than ourselves.
Perhaps faith is sometimes simply the willingness to reach upward, believing there is more than what we can see.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”
Psalm 19:1
