This work, together with its companion, bring together a number of elements that often find their way into my work: Feathers and the Fibonacci Spiral, or golden mean. Blue also features a great deal! The spiral finds itself in much of nature which I find really fascinating and Feathers for me have personal connections to various times in my life. I have used physical feather to create the monotypes for the collage which forms the base for this work. The addition of acrylic ink, hand and machine stitching and gold leaf complete this work on paper.
